OKLAHOMA CITY -- Earlier this week an 11-year-old girl who police say was raped while at a party for her godfather. And the suspect is still on the loose. Since the alleged rape the suspect's home was broken into, leaving some to believe the girl's family is responsible.

That suspect is Melvin Urbina and if this was retaliation based on what may have happened. Someone may be trying to take justice into their own hands.

"They're out to hurt me and my children," Neydina Sanroman, whose home was burglarized, said.

Sanroman is afraid for her and her kids' safety after her home was broken into.

"They're starting to come after me and my family, but we had nothing to do with this," Sanroman said.

She believes the family of an 11-year-old girl who was raped and beaten over the weekend at a banquet hall in south Oklahoma City is to blame. That's because the man suspected of raping the girl is Sanroman's live-in husband, Melvin Urbina, who hasn't been seen since Saturday.

"What happened to that little girl, I feel sorry for her and the family because I'm a mother, I understand," Sanroman said. "I would go just as crazy, but me and my children, we are not to blame."

"While I'm at the house it's extremely trashed, they trashed it, threw everything everywhere," witness Isreal Pinley said.

Pinley is a relative of Sanroman and was the first to notice her house had been burglarized, he says when he went inside, gas from the stove had been turned on and a cigarette had been left on the floor.

"I'm hoping they didn't try to do what they were trying to do, but they probably were," Pinley said.

The idea that someone might try to kill her and her kids by blowing up her house has Sanroman afraid to stay home, and afraid the family of the 11-year-old may be after the wrong guy.

"I don't know what happened or didn't happen, but there is a lot of mixed stories and not everything makes a whole lot of sense what's going on," Sanroman said.

Sanroman said it is normal for Urbina to disappear because he's an illegal alien. She said he's already been deported once, and he's not just going to turn himself in for fear this time he may have to go to jail.

Oklahoma City Police urge anyone who's seen Urbina to call 911.
