For some of the best products in the state, Farmers Markets are a great way to get quality fruits, vegetables, breads, meats and much more from local Oklahoma farmers. Here is information on Farmers Markets around the Oklahoma City area with locations, contact information and a brief description of available Oklahoma-grown products.

Children's Center Farmers Market in Bethany

Location - On the west lawn of Bethany's Children's Center
Contact - For information, contact Angela Pitts in the Public Affairs office at (405) 470-2259.
What You'll Find - With a percentage of sales going to benefit the Children's Center, this market features the usual fresh fruits and vegetables but also has soaps, herbs, jellies and more.

Edmond Farmers Market

Location - Just west of Broadway in downtown Edmond, the Festival Market Place is on 1st Street.

What You'll Find - Open from 8am to 1pm daily, the Edmond Farmers Market has plenty of fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, flowers, pastries and more.

Norman Farmers Market

Location - The Cleveland County Fairgrounds at 615 East Robinson in Norman is the location for the Norman Farm Market.

What You'll Find - Open from April through October, the Norman Farm Market has a number of vendors with great fruits and vegetables as well as honey, plants, flowers, shrubs and more.

Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market

Location - Head downtown for the OKC Farmers Public Market at 311 South Klein.

What You'll Find - One of the oldest farmers markets in the state, this historic spot features fruits, vegetables, firewood, plants, collectibles and more. There's also a 17,000 square foot auditorium for weddings, banquets, events and the like.

Oklahoma State Department of Health Farmers Market

Location - This market takes place at 1000 NE 10th, in the building turnaround. Free parking is provided in the visitor's lot.

What You'll Find - From 11am to 1pm each Friday through September, there are plenty of Made in Oklahoma (MIO) products at the OSDH Farmers Market, mostly Oklahoma-grown produce such as squash, watermelons, tomatoes, onions and more.

OSU-OKC Farmers Market

Location - Saturdays: In and around the OSU-OKC horticulture pavilion at 400 North Portland, Thursdays: At Glenbrook Centre East Shopping Center on NW 63rd, west of Western

What You'll Find - Open all year long from 3-7 p.m. Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, the OSU-OKC Farmers Market prides itself on the fact that every product sold is grown in Oklahoma.
