MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma - Midwest City Police continue to seek out the public's help about who may have started the April 9th fires that damaged 70 homes.

It's estimated the eastern part of Oklahoma County suffered $30 million in damages as 100 homes were destructed by the fires.

Two months after the blaze, many residents have started rebuilding their homes and lives, while others have chosen to sell their lots and move on.

A few homes remain in charred pieces, the way they were found back on April 9.

Although investigators are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible, the tip line has stopped ringing.

"It's been two months, but to many of us it still feels like just yesterday," Police Chief Brandon Clabes said. "We know someone out there knows something and we need that person or persons to come forward. So far, we have interviewed a person of interest but we don't have enough information to go any further."

Anyone with information regarding the fires is asked to call the arson hotline at 739-1306.
