CHOCTAW, Oklahoma - Choctaw police are searching for a man who robbed an Arvest Bank this morning.
FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson said the man entered the bank at about 8:11 a.m., showed the teller a demand note and pulled out a gun. After gathering the money, he left the bank on foot. Johnson said it is believed the man may have entered a vehicle near SE 29th Place just south of the bank.
The man is described as a white male in his 40s or early 50s, about six feet tall, slender build, 180 pounds. He was wearing a black cowboy hat, black sunglasses, a white surgical-style mask, black sports coat, black shirt, black pants and black boots.
FBI believes the man visited the bank Wednesday night, just before 6 p.m. He was described as acting suspicious and matches the robber's description.
The Oklahoma Bankers Association is offering a reward of up to $2,000 to anyone with information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the robber.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at their 24-hour number (405) 290-7770.
