OKLAHOMA CITY -- Motorcycle crashes are all too common in Oklahoma. In 2007, 74 motorcyclists were killed in crashes.
The Downed Bikers Association is holding a fundraiser, attempting to raise awareness and money for families whose loved ones were killed or injured in a motorcycle crash.
The association's president, "Bear," wears patches to honor individuals lost in accidents.
"There's no way I can wear an ‘In Memory' patch of everybody what I've known who's been lost to a motorcycle accident," Bear said. "I wear the few who were extremely close to me."
The group expects a thousand bikers to come out for the event scheduled for Sunday.
