OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City firefighters are working to extinguish a fire, and investigating an explosion at a house on the northeast side of the city.

Neighbors from five blocks away heard a loud explosion and saw smoke and fire on the horizon.

The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. at 1720 Eubanks Street, and leveled the home.

One male victim was transported to an area hospital with second and third degree burns on his arms, face, chest and neck.

The victim's next door neighbor said there was a natural gas leak at the home Sunday.

The victim told firefighters he thought the explosion came from the kitchen area where the stove was. Fire officials are investigating what caused the explosion in the home.
