Multiple Car Wreck Slows Late Night Traffic

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A multiple car pileup caused minor injuries along the NW Expressway Saturday night.

On off-duty officer was pusuing the suspect vehicle south on the Hefner Parkway. The suspects exited at Northwest Expressway, ran a red light, and collided with 3 other cars.

Some children in an SUV received minor injuries, and were transported to an area hospital to be checked out. No other injuries were reported.

The suspects in the vehicle did flee to the dumpster behind the On The Border restaurant and were later captured by officers.

The names of the suspects have not been released. It is unclear what started the police chase.
