Dell Reduces Oklahoma City Work Force

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Dell anounced lay offs at a number of their facilities including in Oklahoma City.

"Dell has been taking steps to optimize its business, streamline operations and reduce costs for the past 18-24 months," Dell spokesperson David Frink said "We've made a number of tough decisions, including workforce reduction."

Dell took additional action Wednesday at various locations, including their facility in Oklahoma City.

Frink said they will not comment on the number of reductions made or specifics within individual Dell businesses or sites at this time.
