OKLAHOMA CITY -- Less than two months ago, a tornado tore through NW Oklahoma City, leaving a path of destruction, but rebuilding is well underway.

Businesses are preparing to reopen, while others are already back in business, including the Boulder Ridge Apartments.

Unlike her fellow neighbors who were forced to evacuate after the February 10 tornado ripped apart their apartment complex, Melissa Martin and her children have been able to stay put.

"We were really, really blessed that day," Martin said. "When it first came this whole section there was a whole fire wall there, there was just debri, rubble far from the building, pieces of roofing in backyards."

The Target just down the street from the apartments is finally back open after its roof collapsed during the tornado.

"We're really, really happy this Target is back open and running," Camey Townsend said. "They're getting everything together, but it's a slow process."

The Cricket store and the Fantastic Sam's have to rebuild from scratch, proving to be a pain-staking process.

Chuck E' Cheese also sustained damage, but opened about two weeks ago.

Even though the apartment complex that was hit is being rebuilt, residents who were forced to leave are still weeks away from being able to move back in.
