Snow Causes Damage in Woodward, Harper Counties

Potentially record setting snow fall has caused roofs in Harper and Woodward counties to collapse on buildings.

WOODWARD, Oklahoma -- Potentially record setting snow fall has caused roofs in Harper and Woodward counties to collapse on buildings.

A funeral home, a nursing home, and two car ports were all damaged in Harper County when the buildings' roofs collapsed.

Woodward: Snowed In

In Woodward County, the roofs at a school gym in Ft. Supply, a lumber yard in Woodward, a furniture store in Woodward and one house in Woodward have all collapsed.

No injuries have been reported with any of these events.

NEWS 9 reporter Jacqueline Sit was snowed into her hotel overnight Friday due to the snow in Woodward. There was enough snow for people to build snowmen in front of the local Walmart and truckbeds were filled to the brim from the snow fall.
