SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- Police are still trying to sort out what happened at a Sand Springs home early Friday morning.

Sand Springs Police say the body of 42-year-old Jimmy Lee Weaver was found in a home in the 400 block of North Roosevelt Avenue shortly after 1 a.m.

Assistant Police Chief Mike Carter says the initial call to 911 concerned a medical problem.

When EMSA and Sand Springs Fire arrived, they determined it was more than just a medical problem. Police were then dispatched to the scene.

Weaver was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the living room area of the home.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mike Carter says officers questioned 44-year-old Deborah Weaver at the police station.  He says she has not been arrested.

The Weaver's two children, ages 8 and 10, were not at home at the time of the incident.  Police say both are with relatives.
