OKLAHOMA CITY -

An altercation between two groups of people ended when someone pulled out a gun and began shooting.

Around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, four people were walking home from the Wal-Mart at Interstate 240 and Santa Fe. Police say as the group walked down S.E. 72nd Street near S. Byers Avenue, they became involved in some sort of squabble with men in a pickup truck.

Police say the group walked away, but the men in the truck drove by and fired several shots at them. One man was hit in the leg. He was taken to the hospital. His injury is not life threatening and he will recover.

Police have not released a description of the shooters or their truck. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Oklahoma City Police Department.
