Elderly OKC Man Found Safe

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Police Department has canceled a Silver Alert after a missing elderly man was found safe.

Theodore Dannecker, 89, went missing around 4 p.m. from the 2100 block of N. Shawnee, which is near N.W. 23rd Street and Portland. He was supposed to meet family in Midwest City, but never arrived.

Dannecker has Parkinson's disease and dementia. His family and police were worried for his safety, especially as the winter storm approached.

Around 10:15 a.m., police announced Dannecker had been found and was safe. Police did not say where he was found.
