OKLAHOMA CITY -

A nine-year-old girl was injured Friday morning in an auto-pedestrian accident at N.E. 10th and Grand Boulevard in Oklahoma City.

The third-grader at Edwards Elementary School was being dropped off at school when the accident happened. According to Oklahoma City police, the little girl ran behind her parents' car to cross the street. Another driver didn't see her, and clipped the child.

Two more cars then crashed into that vehicle. The little girl was taken to the hospital, but she is expected to be okay.

Three other people were also injured in the three-car accident, but their injuries are not serious. They were taken, non-emergency, to a hospital.
