OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police confirmed Tuesday a woman died after setting herself on fire in her northwest Oklahoma City apartment.

Neighbors at Forrest Creek Apartments on N.W. 122nd Street near Rockwell Avenue called 911 Monday when they saw 52-year-old Vicki Gescat on fire on her second-story balcony.

Gescat was rushed to the hospital with burns on 75 percent of her body. She later died from her injuries.
