Elderly OKC Man Facing Rape, Lewd Acts Charges

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A 74-year-old Oklahoma City man is facing charges of rape and lewd acts with a child under 16 dating all the way back to 2005.

Court documents say James Swindle, Sr. molested three girls, ages 13, 12 and five.

During police questioning, Swindle also admitted to molesting another girl who was about 8 years old, 40 to 45 years ago when he lived in another state.

On Friday prosecutors charged Swindle with one count of rape by instrumentation and 11 counts of lewd acts with a child.

Police have arrested Swindle. A court date has not been set.
