NORMAN, Oklahoma -- More than 2,000 people were without power after a microburst wind knocked down powers lines Saturday evening in Norman.

At one point OG&E reported 2,113 customers without power.

Downed power lines were reported near N.E. 12th Street and Robinson Avenue.

NEWS 9 reporter Gan Matthews lives in Norman and said part of his chimney was damaged by the strong wind gust. Other Norman residents reported fences had been blown down in south Norman.
