LINDSAY, Oklahoma -- Lindsay residents woke up to the sound of high winds tearing through their small town Thursday morning.

The storm left behind shattered windows in the business district and tore the roof off the local lumber company. The storm destroyed the city's maintenance barn, as well.

City leaders say much of the town's power was out for about four hours Thursday morning. City Mayor Todd Hinckley says it could be costly for the town to recover.
