CALERA, Okla. (AP) - State troopers say an early-morning crash in Bryan County has taken the lives of 2 people - a father and son from Durant.
A police report Tuesday said those killed in the crash about 5:20 a.m. were 50-year-old Jackey J. Ross Jr. and 25-year-old Jackey J. Ross III.
Troopers said they were westbound on Oklahoma 70E when their car left the roadway on the right, overcorrected and then left the roadway to the left, striking a tree with the passenger side of the vehicle. Both men were wearing seat belts, troopers said.
