OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma County prosecutors have charged three people in the killing of a man whose body was discovered inside the trunk of a burning car in Norman.

Prosecutors on Monday filed charges against 24-year-old Sheila Starr, 23-year-old Antonio Mendoza and 36-year-old Michael Anthony Shields. All three are charged with first-degree murder, arson and conspiracy in the Nov. 15 death of Julian Ramirez Cazares.

Prosecutors allege the three punched, kicked and beat Cazares before choking him with a mop handle at the home where Mendoza and Starr lived in Oklahoma City. The three then allegedly stuffed Cazares' body in the trunk of his own vehicle, drove it to Norman and lit it on fire.

Court records do not indicate if any of the three have been assigned an attorney.
