ENID, Okla. (AP) - A non-jury trial is under way in Garfield County for a man accused in the beating deaths of 2 women in Enid.
Testimony began Monday in the first-degree murder trial of 56-year-old Rudarty Redbone Archilta Sr. He's accused of killing 56-year-old Beaulah Roye Hodges and 32-year-old Pamela Jean LeClair in July 2007.
The women's bodies were found outside homes in an Enid neighborhood.
Both sides waived a jury trial, and testimony is being presented before Associate District Judge Tom Newby.
The trial is scheduled to resume today.
