SAPULPA, OK -- Sapulpa Police are still trying to sort out the details of a shooting early Monday morning in their community.
Police tell The News On 6, shortly after 6 a.m. the victim was sitting in his car outside an apartment complex in the 400 block of South Maple.
The victim told officers, someone walked up to his car and shot him in the side of the face.
The victim then drove himself to a nearby Sapulpa hospital.
Since then, the victim has been flown to a Tulsa hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
