Showers and thunderstorms are in Oklahoma's weekend forecast, but skies will turn sunny for the start of the work week.
The National Weather Service says a cold front will enter northwestern Oklahoma overnight. Although high temperatures will fall nearly 20 degrees over a good part of the state tomorrow, they will still only be slightly below normal as the airmass is primarily of Pacific Ocean origin.
The front and an increase in humidity should produce scattered showers. The highest probability will be in the afternoon as the midlevel moisture will still be somewhat lacking during the morning.
Rainfall amounts are expected to be relatively light. By tomorrow afternoon, there is a slight chance of a mix of light rain and snow across northwestern Oklahoma.
