OWASSO, OK -- An Owasso man is in the Rogers County jail after threatening to blow up a Rogers County health center if they didn't give him drugs.

Deputies say 50-year-old Joel Deubler threatened to blow up the Grand Lake Mental Health Center with plastic explosives.

Rogers County Sheriff's deputies obtained a search warrant for his apartment in a matter of hours. A relative opened the door, saying Deubler wasn't home, but deputies saw him inside and placed him under arrest.

Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton says they follow up with every threat.

"Certainly these days and times, when someone says they're going to blow up a facility, we will take it serious," said Sheriff Scott Walton, Rogers County.

Deubler is being held on complaints of making a telephone bomb threat and assault and battery on a police officer.
