RINGWOOD, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a Fairview man was killed when his pickup truck collided with another truck on U.S. 412 in Major County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 65-year-old Dennis Ratzlaff died at the scene of the accident, which happened about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday near Ringwood.
The patrol says the truck driven by Robert Farris was headed west on the highway as Ratzlaff's truck was going east.
Troopers say Farris fell asleep and his truck crossed the center line, striking Ratzlaff's vehicle head on.
Farris was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, where he was admitted with arm and leg injuries.
The patrol says Farris was wearing a seat belt, but Ratzlaff was not.
