POTEAU, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Catoosa woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on Oklahoma 1 in LeFlore County.
Thirty-9-year-old Debra Childress died at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., from injuries she sustained in the accident about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers say Childress' motorcycle was headed east on the highway when it left the road, overturned and struck a tree.
The patrol says Childress wasn't wearing a helmet.
