It happened in Chouteau, where Zachary George was hired earlier this year.
George allegedly touched a 17-year-old girl's private parts and had her touch him and he later asked for oral sex, according to the Mayes County DA's office.
George taught history, social studies and was an assistant football coach.
On August 28, the Chouteau School district received a formal complaint against George. The school's superintendent informed George he was suspended pending an investigation into the incident. George resigned from his job, rather than face suspension, according to the school's attorney, Karen Long.
The superintendent prepared recommendations to the school board for George's dismissal. About two weeks ago, George waived his right to a hearing before the board. Last week, the school board accepted the superintendent's recommendation of dismissal.
George's next court appearance is scheduled for October 15th.
