The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has set up a booth at the Oklahoma State Fair this year in an effort to solicit the public's help to crack unsolved cases.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is working to bring some of their cold cases to a close by setting up shop at the Oklahoma State Fair.
The OSBI has set up a booth inside the Expo Hall at the fair this year, but officials said the booth is not just for fun and games. It's also a way to keep four of the OSBI's unsolved cases on the forefront of Oklahomans' minds.
"We wanted to make sure we provided every opportunity for information coming forward," said Stan Florence, OSBI inspector.
The OSBI hopes all the foot traffic will lead to the key piece of information they've been desperate for to help solve the murders of an unidentified woman at Lake Thunderbird, retired El Reno professor Jim Shaw, Pastor Carol Daniels, and the two Weleetka girls who were murdered back in 2008.
"Somebody here who happens to be passing by may have some information that may be helpful to help solve some of these cases," Florence said.
Cases that those in the crowd recognized have gone unsolved for too long.
"The Weleetka deal it's been quite awhile and they need breaks on that," said fairgoer Brad Neson. "There's a lot of traffic at the fair. Great place to put it."
OSBI investigators said many times cases go unsolved without the public's help.
"We have to have the assistance of the public. The public has the information often times that we need, and we need that information right now," Florence said.
OSBI officials said in at least three of the unsolved cases, a $10,000 to $160,000 reward is being offered.
