TULSA COUNTY -- Two Dollar General stores were robbed overnight Sunday, according to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. The family discount chain's locations in Collinsville and Sperry were targeted.

Burglars cut a hole in the back wall of the building and crawled through into the businesses. Both the contents of the safe and the stores' security camera systems were stolen, according to a Sheriff's Office spokesperson. Because the crimes were so similar, investigators believe the same thieves targeted both stores.

Both stores are located in northern Tulsa County. The Collinsville store is at 11827 North Garnett; the Sperry location is at 10203 North Cinncinatti.

Anyone with any information about the burglaries is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
