DAVIS, OK -- A Davis man was killed in a one-car collision after his pickup hit an electrical pole at about 6:40 Saturday evening. Jack Douglas Cruce, 53, was driving on a private road about a mile north of Davis when he lost control of his vehicle due to unsafe speed. The vehicle slid broadside into a pole.
Cruce was transported by Murray County EMS to Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a safety belt, according to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
