CHANDLER, Oklahoma -- The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a late-night earthquake in central Oklahoma.
The quake hit around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday northeast of Oklahoma City near Chandler.
Lincoln County Emergency Manager Joey Wakefield said the earthquake knocked a mobile home off it foundation and caused some other minor damage in and near Carney.
The geological survey reported on its Web site late Tuesday that the quake had a magnitude of 3.3, with a depth of about three miles.
It's the second small trembler to hit the area since Friday, when a 2.2 magnitude quake shook south of Oklahoma City around the town of Purcell.
The survey records about 50 earthquakes a year in Oklahoma, though few are reported as being felt by residents.
Anyone who felt the quake can report it to the Oklahoma Geological Survey's Web site at www.okgeosurvey1.gov.
