MEEKER, Okla. (AP) - An 85-year-old Meeker man has died four days after his pickup collided with a tractor in a construction zone on a Lincoln County highway.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Paul Graham died Sunday at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, although the agency didn't release its fatality report until Thursday.
Troopers say the westbound lane of State Highway 62 had been shut down for construction when the accident happened about 3 p.m. on June 17.
A tractor driven by 26-year-old Dustin Rackley of Chandler was eastbound in the westbound lane, while Graham's pickup was westbound.
The OHP says the pickup entered the closed westbound lane and hit the tractor. Rackley was not injured.
