OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who led an officer on a chase after avoiding a traffic stop. The man is also a suspect in the burglary of the pickup truck used in the chase.

According to police, a motorcycle officer attempted to stop a white pickup truck when it fled and a chase ensued. The officer followed the vehicle to 2800 N.W. 35th Street where two people bailed out of the vehicle. One female passenger was taken into police custody at the scene and the driver of the vehicle was caught about a block away at the Whataburger restaurant on May Avenue.

Police are continuing their search in the area for another person involved. Police said they are looking for a man wearing shorts and a white tank top shirt.

The truck the suspects were in was reported stolen out of a parking garage at the Oil Center on N.W. Expressway at the end of July.
