OKLAHOMA CITY -- An incident report released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the man accused of assaulting another motorist during a road rage incident near the State Capitol.

According to troopers, Keith Everett Martin, 38, is the man who witnesses said repeatedly punched Steve Leisinger and left him bleeding and unconscious.

The report stated Martin left the scene and showed up in blood-stained clothes at the Department of Transportation where he works in the Right of Way Division. Instead of turning himself in, Martin's supervisor at ODOT took him back to the scene during work hours and used a state-owned camera to take pictures of the area.

Troopers arrested Martin later that day at ODOT and booked him into the Oklahoma County Jail.

He's been charged with assault and battery.

Martin was reached on the phone Thursday at his Edmond residence, but he declined to comment on the case.
