OKLAHOMA CITY - All planes at Tinker Air Force Base have been accounted for after the Federal Aviation Administration reported receiving what could be a distress signal.
The FAA notified the base they were receiving a periodic signal that could be a distress signal this morning.
Officials at Tinker said they have checked all of the planes and the signal is not coming from a plane and instead must be from some type of electronic interference.
FAA spokesman Roland Herwig said the interference is located in the northeast part of Oklahoma City and people are trying to track it down.
CNN contributed to this report.
