Senate bill 1854 would prohibit people from setting up unauthorized camps, tents or shelters on state-owned property. The penalty for violating this would be a $50 fine or up to 15 days in jail.

Along with their budget priorities, the House has rolled out a new transparency portal, allowing the public to compare budget numbers between the House, Senate and governor.

Current Oklahoma law allows anyone 18 and up to buy long guns, like shotguns and rifles, but it limits handgun purchases to 21 and up. Senate Bill 1218 would allow any gun to be sold to anyone 18 and older.
