

Road Trip Oklahoma continues with a stop in Mustang, Oklahoma. Known as "A city with a vision", Mustang is within one of the fastest growing counties in the state. Mustang was established as a city in 1969 with a population of about 2,600. Today, Mustang boasts a population of more than 17,000. Luigiano’s is a hidden gem in Mustang. This Italian restaurant is a favorite of locals. Many people host pizza parties in the casual atmosphere.
This community center has walking trails, duck pond, baseball and softball fields, Frisbee golf, gazebo, aquatic center and an airplane memorial.
From 12:00pm - 1:00pm have lunch with Kelly and Amanda. Amanda Taylor and Kelly Ogle will eat lunch at the Tea Room to visit with city leaders. This quaint restaurant is a Mustang original. It’s well-known for its sweet tea and delicious sandwiches.
From 1:15pm - 2:30pm, Oklahoma’s number one Meteorologist, Gary England, will teach kids about Oklahoma weather during an entertaining and informative weather presentation.
From 8:30am - 10:00am, Robin, Stan and Jed will join several high school sports for their practices on Thursday morning. We’ll see who still has it when they air the piece on Friday morning!
