DALLAS (AP) - Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby warns that anyone who likes intercollegiate athletics the way they are now will hate what's coming. Bowlsby said significant changes are on the way during his opening address at Big 12 football media days yesterday. Bowlsby isn't sure people understand how much pending lawsuits against the NCAA and its member schools could change things.

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) - Rogers State University women's basketball coach Bobby Cope has announced the six players who make up his first recruiting class heading into the 2014-15 season. Jordan Evans, Amari Jones, Jalissa Felici and Taylor Koelsch all join the Hillcats as transfers. The Hillcats are entering their second year in the Heartland Conference.

NEW YORK (AP) - Miles Mikolas earned his first win as a starter last night to lead the Texas Rangers to a 4-2 victory over the sloppy New York Yankees.
