There is a chance for scattered showers and storms to develop on Wednesday; the highest chances for storms are along and north of Interstate 40.
These storms do not look like they will become severe, but we will be monitoring them.
Current warnings and watches in Oklahoma:
Wednesday afternoon will be hot, with 80s and 90s in the forecast.
Gulf moisture will be lacking, but there is going to be enough instability for severe storms.
Numerous storms are expected Wednesday afternoon around 3 to 5 p.m. in the west and these will spread across Oklahoma through the rest of the day.
There is a low risk these storms will be severe.
Storm chances go up in the metro between 6 - 10 p.m.
Winds will get into the 65-75 miles per hour range, which could be damaging.
Some of the strongest storms could produce hail the size of golf balls, have winds up to 75 mph, and pose a low tornado risk.
