The office of Judge Ray Elliot has confirmed to News 9 that Deion Reed, a man accused of killing his infant son in 2018, was found not guilty by a jury on one of 3 charges.
The jury deliberated for at least 10 hours into late into the night and debated whether Reed was guilty of two counts of child abuse and one count of first-degree murder.
Jurors found him not guilty on the second child abuse charge, but were hung on the other two charges.
Police said Reed admitted to throwing his son Dexter against a wall when the baby wouldn't stop crying.
